FoodCompass

Built as a part of Enactus UNSW, I led the development of FoodCompass, a plaform connecting UNSW societies with surplus event food to students facing food insecurity.

Societies post their leftover food, and students can browse through the listings. They can then claim the food at a location agreed by both parties for pickup. Students can also signup via email to receive real-time push notifications about new listings.

The project placed Top 4 in Enactus Australia National Championships 2026, and received the Highest Impact and People's Choice Award at UNSW Software Development Society's Starlight 2026 project showcase.

Spotify Data Ingestion Pipeline

An event-driven pipeline which tracks a user's recent Spotify listening history, storing information about the song, artist, album, popularity etc. The data is processed through AWS SQS and stored into a PostreSQL database.

At the end of each day, every user receives a summary of what they listened to in the past day via email, including things like total streaming duration, top tracks and top artists.

I built this project because I was too impatient waiting for a Spotify Wrapped at the end of each year, and wanted to know my listening habits more deeply. I also just love music.

Funnily enough, this project has made me realise I really enjoy statisics and working with raw data.

StudyIntel

My first real introduction to full-stack web development. StudyIntel is a study analytics platform where UNSW students can log and track their studying hours for their courses.

Users can see their studying habits visualised through a personal dashboard, seeing the total no. of hours they studied throughout the term, and how many hours they dedicated to each course.

It was my first experience working with ORMs, databases, deployment, and APIs.
